There are plenty of buffet restaurants in Myrtle Beach. Most are very good and most offer a separate menu if you have friends or family trying to avoid eating too much due to health or diet reasons.

1. Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse

Rioz Brazilian Steakhouse is truly a treasure to eat at. The service is top notch as the wait staff brings skewers of food selections like filet mignon, sirloin, prime rib, juicy chicken, pork loin, leg of lamb and tender pork ribs as a sampling of the choices. The staff rotates the selections until you’ve had enough.

The meats are brought on skewers and you have a card that has a red for no or green for yes. Flip the card accordingly and the servers will honor your choice to stop or give you more.

The salad bar is to die for with over 25 items in the salad bar and you can have sushi and fresh fish if you so desire.

Rioz is great for anniversary celebrations, proposals, any group functions and is very popular among the thousands of golfers and vacationers who invade Myrtle Beach yearly. Of course the locals love it too.

Captain George’s Seafood Buffet is a top choice among the seafood buffets. All you can eat Alaskan Crab Legs, broiled salmon, fried oysters, deviled crab, steamed craw-fish, Mahi Mahi, chicken, prime rib, barbecue ribs, corn on the cob, steamed veggies and the list goes on. Sea Captains House in Myrtle Beach has best voted “Best of the Beach” year after year. Starting out as a simple cottage in 1930 to become a restaurant and then damaged by Hurricane Hazel in 1954, underwent several changes to the property and restaurant to become what it is today. With a dining view of the ocean, excellent service and food, The Sea Captains House has withstood the test of time.

Now as popular as ever. They are open 7 days a week and offer breakfast, lunch and dinner menu’s and their infamous breakfast buffet.

Giant Crab Seafood is located in an area called Restaurant Row on the very north end of Myrtle Beach. You can’t help but see the enormous Big Fat Giant Crab draped over the entrance. Inside they sport a huge 40′ waterfall and a scenic view overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway.

They offer over 170 items on the massive buffet. Seafood items include Oyster Rockefeller, Giant Crab Legs (of course), Crab Imperial and baked, fried and broiled seafood. There is Virginia Ham, ribs, roast beef, chicken and a large selection of veggies and side items.

5. The Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood

The Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood is located in the area called Restaurant Row on the far north end of Myrtle Beach. They boast a 170+ item buffet and has been serving vacationers and locals for over 30 years. You dine with a scenic view overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and for history enthusiasts, you can see the one of the largest collections of nautical antiques, large scale ship models and mounted sea creatures.

Angelo’s Steak, Seafood and Pasta. There is an excellent pasta buffet as a stand alone meal or it can be combined with dinner entrees. The earlybird buffet is from 3:30-6 p.m. It might be a short time period but well worth it.

Lasagna, Spaghetti, Italian Sausage, Sliced Pizza, Tortellini Alfredo and Chicken Cacciatore is just a sampling of buffet choices. Don’t forget the salad and fresh dinner rolls.

New China Buffet is located in Surfside and have just remodeled there location inside. This is one Chinese restaurant that is a must if you to visit for a great meal. Extremely popular with the locals and families.

Lunch time is very busy with all the workers in the area coming in for lunch which really keeps the food fresh and the staff busy refilling. The crab legs at dinner are very large and in big demand. Everything is very good among the 140+ menu items.

8. Golden Coral

Golden Coral is located in a lot of cities but it’s the only one located here in Myrtle Beach. It’s popularity for breakfast on the weekends, lunch/brunch and dinner appeal to everyone.

Many visitors to Myrtle Beach make this a must stop because where they live there is no Golden Coral near it. Always busy with a smiling wait staff, keeps the food fresh all day long.

Not only is there a large array of food items with something for everyone, they have a cutting board section with ham, prime rib, hamburgers at different times and delectable Crab Legs as part of the dinner menu. The fried chicken is really really good and there is bourbon chicken, pot roast, pizza, fresh mash potatoes, salad bar all with fresh rolls. 10. Crabby Mike’s Seafood

Crabby Mikes is a classic seafood buffet in Surfside just south of Ocean Lakes Campground. You know you’re there if you see the huge orange crab on the Crabby Mike’s Van. A fun atmosphere, great wait staff, service with a smile and great food becomes another memorable experience in Myrtle Beach.

Large Alaskan Snow Crabs, Baked Salmon, Grilled Tuna, Seafood Casserole Surprise, Grilled Swordfish, Okra, Sweet Potato Casserole, Southern Fried Chicken, Shrimp Pasta Salad, Lobster Seafood Bisque, Cherry Cobbler, Cheesecake and sugar free deserts is just a sample of buffet choices.
